SAGAN YEE 


Sagan Yee (he/they) is a queer media artist whose practice roams restlessly across animation, games, speculative fiction, installation, fanart, and community organizing. From 2016 to 2020, they were the executive director of Hand Eye Society, a Toronto-based videogame arts non-profit. In 2026, he got his MFA in Design Media Arts from UCLA, where he was also an event coordinator at the UCLA Game Lab. They have presented work and given talks at places like IndieCade, Game Developer Conference, SXSW, A MAZE Festival Berlin and Johannesburg, Allied Media Conference, and DiGRA. His personal work has been funded by the Toronto, Ontario, and Canada Arts Councils, and their animation has been viewed millions of times on Youtube as well as on the Disney Channel, Adult Swim, and in various indie games. They are currently on the board of Game Arts International Network.
